Leaving on a jet plane!

Training weekend is over.  What an awesome way to start out trip.
We did a cross run early Sunday morning; it was a wonderful time to reflect on Jesus' sacrifice on the cross.  We spent the later morning learning about the amazing products that Sawyer has to offer and we were trained on how to demonstrate and set up the water filters that we will be taking along to Panama.
We also had a chance to reflect on short term missions and our faith journey.
Thanks to Amy Weaver and family for providing a wonderful picnic dinner for us.  We had a great time swimming, playing games and just relaxing.
And finally, we finished the day with our send off activity led by Danny Thompson who is traveling with the Costa Rica group today.  We were reminded that God lives within us and is ready to do a mighty work if we allow Him to fully work in our lives.  We had a wonderful time of reflection on a prayer walk by the Breeches.

And now, it's time to leave.  We will leave Messiah at 10am and hope to get Panama around 9pm.  It will be a long day, but we are all ready to get this adventure started!

Thanks again for all of your prayers as we start this journey!
